"To have shared and loved the experience of the good, true and beautiful,
through some concrete or vicarious experience is to begin real friendship."
James S. Taylor

 friendship...is one of the greatest things in life.  It is the sweetest, holiest, and most far-reaching agency on earth.  Friendship is based upon unselfishness and a desire to help someone – a trust in others more than in self.  I accept the love of my friends not as a gift, but as a sacred trust imposed upon me.  My friends keep me healthy, sound, and able with their love.  They are my eyes with which I see, my ears with which I hear, my mouth with which I speak, my heart with which I love – they are my inspiration."
              Brother Bryan

This same mysterious agency has led to our wee collectif. These sentiments have earthed us and offered us shelter in a progressively cyber world. Years of coffee-shop and kitchen sink conversations, a river house weekend, attentive listening, the kinship of ‘what, you too?’ and yes, e-mails, have called us out of our dusty corners to the unwalled dwelling place of this offering we are learning with Mason to call ‘prov.en.der.’  The initial Clockwise weekend in the summer of 2010 gathered Red Mountain Community School teachers and parents longing to engage regularly and intentionally with each other and Mason's wisdom for 'slow school, thin places, and thick lives.'  That posture continues to summon.  And that friendship is far-reaching;
we fondly hope you will be at home in the locations listed below as you find your way to the
things supplied in your particular time, place, and relationships. Everyone is welcome.
